An introduction of Yoga for beginners. Over the 6 weeks together we will look briefly at the roots of yoga and where it originated from, to breathwork to the basic asana / postures. We will look at how we can move in a away to support ourselves on the mat, learning the physical benefits of Yoga asana. There will be a gentle introduction to meditation and learning how to give ourselves the gift of time and space. Each week we will have a 5 min chat at the beginning and set our intention from that practice and we will work around a physical focus in the body as well. Over the 6 weeks building our knowledge and a steady practice to take into a regular class or develop a practice at home.
