About Clevedon Yoga
Clevedon Yoga began in 2016 with a simple idea: to create a welcoming space for people in Clevedon to practise yoga, learn, move and connect.
Over the years, the classes and offerings have naturally evolved alongside the students who come through the door. What started as a small local yoga community has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of — a warm, supportive group of people who come together each week, each with their own bodies, experiences and reasons for practising.
After more than nine years of teaching, my own understanding of yoga has continued to grow too. Through years of teaching, learning and connecting with students, I’ve developed a wealth of experience that I bring into every class. My teaching combines traditional yoga practices with a modern understanding of movement, anatomy and how our bodies work, while always coming back to the heart of yoga: creating space to listen, breathe and connect.

Yoga that meets you where you are
Whether you’re completely new to yoga or have been practising for years, you are welcome here.
You won’t be expected to be flexible, wear the latest yoga leggings or look a certain way. We practise alongside a wonderfully varied mix of bodies, ages, abilities and experience.
My classes focus on how your practice feels, rather than how it looks. There is space to ask questions, explore movement, rest when you need to and simply have a go.
For me, yoga is not about achieving the perfect shape. It’s about building a relationship with your body, your breath and yourself — and sharing that journey with others.

Growing the practice beyond the mat
As Clevedon Yoga continues to evolve, I’m excited to offer more ways to explore yoga beyond the weekly class.
The online space will provide yoga practices and resources to support your home practice, alongside opportunities to explore yoga philosophy, traditional practices, lineage, breathwork and other aspects of yoga in more depth.
I’ll also be offering a small number of workshops throughout the year — a chance to slow down, learn something new, ask questions and spend a little longer exploring a particular area of yoga together.
My hope is that Clevedon Yoga continues to be a place where we can learn from each other, deepen our practice and enjoy the journey together.

I'm super happy to have found Laura, her style is perfect for me, she leads an intuitive class, you come out feeling much better in your body, instructions are very clear, she 'll adjust you if needed and suggest alternatives according to everyone's needs. Avery special gem here in my view. Thank you Laura!

Laura has a warm friendly approach. The class is supportive and this weekly class brings calmness to my week. Each week she considers the needs of the class and changes moves accordingly. The following day after my practice I never ache, all moves strengthen but not injury my body. With these sessions I now have flexibility and inner strength allowing me to get through the rest of my week.
